Here's my entry this week for
The Three Muses. Thankfully we are out of January. It has been so dreary around here. It's hard to find much color outside. I'm drawn to the sumac plant any time of the year, but especially now. It's deep red hues stand out against the snowy landscape. The beautiful cardinals are always a treat for the eyes.

Ah yes, spring is but a few weeks away! This is lovely and warms me up just looking! I've noticed the birds are singing a lot more these days too.
Tammy, I'm always so impressed by your creativity!
Your cardinal piece is wonderful! Love the soft blue background with the music coming through!
This piece is so pretty- cardinals always inspire me in the winter. I love that flash of red on a snowy landscape. :)
I played bridge this afternoon at a friend's house where there were 11 cardinals at her birdfeeder! Beautiful splashes of red in an otherwise bleak landscape this time of year! Love your entry. Thanks for joining our challenge.
I love your cardinals! lovely piece!
Love the elements used in this collage - the brilliant red brings fire to this piece- wonderful art Tammy!
OMG this is perfect.
Really gorgeous piece of art. Love them.
Ohh.. wow.. this looks beautiful, I love all the colors. This is a real art piece, well done.
Wow! I have never heard of sumac plants and I have never seen a cardinal at first hand AND it never snows in my part of the planet so it is a real joy to me to see your most beautiful painting and imagining what it must be like to see splashes of red on a frozen landscape.
I really like this piece. Did you know that the Indians used the sumac leaves for wounds and the flower heads to grind and make flour with? I too love the vivid red of this plant. I love how you showed the birds and plants off in your piece. Bravo!
Gorgeous! Love the sumac - and the beautiful cardinals! I so miss the cardinals, so seeing them here is a real treat! Love the color combinations you used - very pretty!
