I had fun with this weeks challenge for
The Three Muses. I usually don't use words in my artwork, so this forced me to do so. There has been lots of pixie dust floating around our house this week. We checked out Peter Pan from the library and my 5 year old has wanted to watch it everyday. It was only natural to do a little pixie this week since I keep hearing "you can fly, you can fly."

I'm fast becoming a big fan of your work! It makes its statement in a whimsical way, totally charming! I'm so glad you found your way to our blog! I look forward to seeing more of your work.
She's wonderful from her tattered wings--right down to her striped stockings :D
It's beautiful and such a wise saying.
OMG this is absolutely gorgeous.
Lovely piece.
Funnily enough, my son has a school homework project to make a pair of shoes based around a fairytale character and he has chosen Peter Pan - so there's lots of fairy dust in our house too!
This is such a cutie picture. How have you made her wings? I'm intrigued...

A very charming piece! I love those wings!
Wow! Your painting is exquisite. I love its whimsicality and other-worldness. The textures you have achieved are stunning, especially as they show up so well even after being flattened, photo-style.
