not quite right

bird on shoulder
well, i'm not sure that i did this challenge right for the three muses, the theme is "odd bird,"  maybe i should have taken it more literally.  oh well.    my bird is not odd at all, i like to think it's the girl in the painting who is a bit odd/strange.  i wasn't going to submit it, but here it is.

You must be an odd bird to walk around in a turban with a bird on your shoulder! Great work and good fun.xx

The odd bird can be avian or human, Tammy, and your purple-haired lady certainly qualifies as a bit odd! I love the vibrant colors. Nice work! Thanks for joining in our challenge.

And walking around with that hairstyle and a bird on your shoulder isn't odd? Of course she's an odd bird and a very pretty one too :)

Interpretation is everything my friend. He may well be an odd bird, after all we have no idea what he just said to the odd bird he's perched on. Brilliant.

It's a beautiful painting, Tammy (and I put an odd person into my entry too, so you're not the only one!)
